Now that we don't have Lana to pick on anymore (it's a joke, Sweet people...), it's time to honor - or dishonor a character that might not be the poster child for popularity.

At no fault of Cassidy Freeman's - because she's awesome, much like Kristin Kreuk was very cool herself - Tess Mercer was voted the Least Favorite Character from Season 9.

Yes, you read that right - in a world where fans of Chloe and fans of Lois rally against each other, someone else still "won."

So now, Tess Mercer didn't just get thrown or beat up and possibly killed this year - she also was picked by fans at KryptonSite as their least favorite character. Hope you all feel good about yourselves. Tess had 1,804 votes - a little more than 25% of the vote. Hopefully for the character (and the talented Ms. Freeman) death might give Tess a little bit of a reboot so her character is a bit more consistent in Season 10.

Second least favorite for Season 9 went to Chloe Sullivan (1720 votes), and Zod came in third place with 1596 votes.
