Season four of SUPERMAN & LOIS picks up right where last season left off: with Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Luthor’s monster locked in a ferocious, moon-wrecking battle, as Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) fights for his life against the seemingly unstoppable creature. Back on the ground, General Lane (guest star Dylan Walsh) struggles to stay alive after being kidnapped by Luthor’s henchmen, while Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch), Jordan (Alex Garfin), and Jonathan (Michael Bishop) race against time to rescue him. But standing in their way is Lex Luthor (Michael Cudlitz) himself, who has permanently moved to Smallville as the next step in his malicious plan to destroy Lois Lane. Meanwhile, Lana Lang (guest star Emanuelle Chriqui) uses her position as Mayor to fight back against Luthor’s schemes, a move which puts her in the sights of the most dangerous man in the world and threatens everything she holds dear. This includes her relationship with John Henry Irons (guest star Wolé Parks), who must put his Ironworks plans on hold and rejoin the DOD, now that General Lane is missing. But they aren’t the only duo in trouble, as Chrissy Beppo (guest star Sofia Hasmik) and Kyle Cushing (guest star Eric Valdez) face an uphill battle of their own, with countless roadblocks that threaten to ruin their future together. Amid all the chaos, Sarah Cortez (guest star Inde Navarette) and Natalie Irons (guest star Tayler Buck) also join the fight against Luthor, while both facing impossible decisions about their paths in life. And as Clark’s battle with the terrifying monster continues, Lois, her boys, and the world must face an unthinkable possibility: what if Superman never returns?

Acclaimed Series Turns Superman & Lois Smallville Into A Wasteland

An acclaimed HBO series has turned the Superman & Lois Smallville town set into a wasteland.

Published

on

A few months ago, Elizabeth “Bitsie” Tulloch who plays Lois Lane on Superman & Lois had mentioned that an acclaimed series would be taking over the Superman & Lois Smallville street sets… now, thanks to Hollywood North Buzz and Paul Orazietti (@Paradeguy on Twitter/X), we know which series it is: The HBO Original series The Last of Us starring Pedro Pascal!

The Superman & Lois streets have already been turned into a wasteland as seen in the photos below. The theater is still the “Sequoia” which is pretty cool, though! In real life this “town” is near Cloverdale in Vancouver, British Columbia… only blocks from the “downtown” street seen with such locations as the Talon on The WB/CW’s Smallville.

Of course, we still have ten episodes of seeing it as Smallville in Superman & Lois Season 4. The fourth and final season will launch with two back to back episodes October 17 on The CW. But after that… wasteland! You can see some photos in Paradeguy’s tweet below:

Superman & Lois Season 4 will star Bitsie Tulloch as Lois Lane, Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Alex Garfin as Jordan Kent, Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent, and Michael Cudlitz as Lex Luthor. While several actors who used to be series regulars will now just be guest stars, all of them are expected to come back during the fourth and final season.

Special thanks goes out to Derek Russell at SHoE for the tip.

Superman & Lois Season 4: The First Teaser Trailer Is Here!

A Superman & Lois Season 4 teaser poster and trailer have now been released by The CW, hinting at the Death of Superman.

Published

on

“A World Without Superman”… confirming rumors that Superman & Lois Season 4 might begin with an adaptation of “The Death of Superman,” The CW has released a new teaser poster for the fourth and final season of the TV series. The teaser poster image seen above (or below) was released by The CW on social media on Thursday, followed by a teaser trailer release on Friday, July 19. This teaser trailer previews a longer piece that will be released July 27 during Comic-Con.

The Death of Superman happened in the comic books in 1992, as the character was taken down by the create Doomsday, much like the conclusion of Season 3 of the Superman & Lois TV show. This storyline was followed by “Funeral for a Friend,” which explored that world without Superman, and finally, “Reign of the Supermen” which honestly would be really amazing to see on our TV screens.

UPDATE: The new Superman & Lois Season 4 trailer is here! Check it out below. There will surely be more news next week as well as a full-length trailer when Superman & Lois makes its first and last appearance at the Comic-Con International in San Diego!

Superman & Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Alex Garfin as Jordan Kent, Michael Bishop as Jonathan Kent, and Michael Cudlitz as Lex Luthor. Past series regulars from the show will be back in a guest star capacity. The new season premieres October 17 on The CW.
