Here's
a list of the music heard on Smallville's
fourth season. We've tried to identify
as much of it as possible. Special
thanks to everyone who helps us obtain
the song information!
Ever
since the Smallville pilot
in 2001 featured the music of bands
like Lifehouse and Coldplay, playing
the popular music of the times has
always been a Smallville tradition.
There
have been two Smallville soundtrack
albums commercially released. The
first, The
Talon Mix, contains music
from the show's first two seasons;
the second, The
Metropolis Mix, contains
mostly music from Seasons Four and
Five. Please order
these albums through Amazon.com
and support KryptonSite!
Please
keep in mind if an episode is not
listed, it is possible that there
was no pop music used in the show.
Episode
#4-21: "Forever" "Anywhere
With You" by Split Habit
"Down" by Tim Cullen
"Around The Way" by Wonderlife
- This is the song played at the end
of the episode. Many people were e-mailing
to ask about this one!
Unfortunately,
it doesn't seem like any of these
are available to order yet from Amazon.com!
Thanks to everyone who helped figure
this stuff out!

Episode
#4-18: "Spirit"
The
band Lifehouse
performed at Smallville's Prom which
meant we had three tracks from their
latest album. Songs by Lifehouse in
the episode include "Blind,"
"Come Back Down," "Undone,"
and, during the Clark and Lana dance
at the episode's end, "You and
Me." You can order Lifehouse's
latest album (and support this site!)
by clicking
here. Also played in the episode:
"La
La" by Ashlee Simpson- Played by the annoying Dawn
while in the car and when she was
inside Martha Kent's body. "Not
Gonna Wait" by Lamar

Episode
#4-12: "Pariah" "I
Love Rock 'N' Roll" by Joan Jett
- This is the karaoke song performed
by Lois and Chloe (Erica Durance and
Allison Mack). The original song was
performed by Joan Jett. But we know
her best song ever was "Bad Reputation,"
since it was later used as the theme
to Freaks
and Geeks, which is, of course,
The Best Short-Lived Show Ever. "To
Die For" by Dan Zweben "Deeper
Water" by Minnie Driver
- played at the very end of the episode.
