 Allie Bertram To Guest On Smallville
The Calgary Herald recently interviewed actress Allie Bertram (Supernatural) who revealed that she will be making an upcoming appearance on Smallville.
In the interview with the former So You Think You Can Dance Canada contestant, it is said that "her biggest role to date will air on the CW sometime in October, when she plays a high-school reporter working alongside a young Clark Kent and Lois Lane in an episode of the cult TV show Smallville."
(The "young Lois and Clark" bit, NOT written here at KryptonSite, is apparently from a writer unfamiliar with the show. The Lois and Clark in these scenes of "Homecoming" are indeed the present-day Lois and Clark.)
That role will happen in the episode "Homecoming," where Clark and Lois revisit Smallville High. Chances are good that as a "high-school reporter," Ms. Bertram will be the new bearer of the Smallville Torch. KryptonSite has also heard from unofficial sources that the actor chosen to play her writing partner at the Torch is named Tom. No word yet on if she'll have flippy blond hair or have a name like "Claire" or "Zoe" or something similar.
Actors named Tom and Allie working for the Smallville Torch - like that's never happened on Smallville before.
Look for "Homecoming" in October. If you want a peek at Allie Bertram a bit sooner, she'll be joining the Tom Welling-produced Hellcats in a recurring role. That series begins September 8, though we don't know when her character will premiere.
