UPDATED: Supergirl Season 6 Production Dates Change

A few weeks ago here on KryptonSite, we reported on posted Vancouver production dates for Supergirl Season 6 that have since changed, most likely in light of the decision that this will be the final season of the series with a certain number of episodes. Earlier, the production dates listed were September 28 through April 5 — now, the dates are updated to start October 13 (earlier this week) with the production ending August 6, 2021.

This longer production schedule seems to ensure that Supergirl will for sure get her final 20-episode run which will begin airing midseason on The CW. Of course, things are still subject to change, because we don’t know what COVID-19 will do to the world between now and then. But hey, it is nice to know that the show is prepared for a long production time!
