Superman & Lois Casts Dylan Walsh As General Sam Lane

The character of General Sam Lane, originally played by Glenn Morshower on Supergirl, has been cast on the upcoming Superman & Lois which will star Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch.

Deadline has revealed that Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck, Life Sentence, Blue Bloods) will be taking over the role for the new series, where he will be a series regular.

Here’s how they describe his character:

Walsh will play Samuel Lane, a no-nonsense Army General who’s determined to keep America, and the world, safe from all threats – from this world or beyond. Lane’s a workaholic who demands nothing but excellence from all those in his life.

  • Great choice. I hope this is the result of the Crisis changes that should be addressed in Superman and Lois.

I would like to see Superman and Lois' version of Flashpoint involving Project Superman and Lois Lane & The Resistance.
