That’s going to change in Supergirl Season 2, premiering this Fall on The CW.
“Greg, Ali and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl,” Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement. “Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!”

It was so stupid not allowing him on that show to begin with. The public is smart enough to know Superman is a comic book icon and can handle more than one person playing the part.

Out of everyone who's played superman, I say Henry Cavill was been the best. He should play superman on supergirl.
I would like to see Tom Welling do it, but I don't think its likely. It needs to be someone a little older than Supergirl so I would hope its a good actor, one who fits the role. Armie Hammer had been up for the movies, so I think he would be a good choice as well.
