Supergirl “Ace Reporter” Preview Clips & “Inside” Video

The CW has released an “Inside” video as well as a few preview clips to promote tonight’s (April 24) return episode of Supergirl.

It is the first of several new installments that will be airing in a row, taking us through to the end of the season.

The “Inside” video features writers/producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner and a few new clips from the episode, which is called “Ace Reporter.” You can find that below:

Then, the preview clip features Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) looking for action and adventure at the DEO, although there is none, which leaves Kara a bit bored.

In addition to the clips on The CW’s official YouTube page, there have been two additional clips that have been made available. One features guest star Rahul Kohli of iZombie fame; the other features Kara getting a fabulous visitor at the place where she lives, and sets up some expository dialogue. Both of these clips feature Katie McGrath (Lena) in addition to Melissa Benoist.

Here’s how The CW describes the episode:

Lena’s (guest star Katie McGrath) ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack’s conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper (guest Star Ian Gomez) in attendance she’s inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Caitlin Parrish (#218).
