Supergirl “Ace Reporter” Overnight Ratings Report

The long break was certainly not beneficial to Supergirl’s ratings as the overnight numbers are in and it appears that “Ace Reporter” hit a series low.

The show had a 0.5/2 in the important Ages 18-49 demo and 1.81 million viewers — note that Gotham over on FOX, which also had a break, has also seen a decline. Supergirl’s 1.81 million is still better than its lead-out Jane the Virgin with almost a million less than that; it still also ranks higher than a lot of the CW lineup.

Needless to say, the total viewer numbers can and will go up once streaming things like DVR and The CW app are factored in. The show is already renewed for Season 3, so none of us need to worry about that.
