New Supergirl Season 4 Poster: Red Daughter?

The CW has released new poster art to promote the upcoming fourth season of Supergirl, and with a red glow around Kara we do wonder if this is a story hint referencing a DC Comics story from recent years.

The caption reads “A Force Against Fear,” but that red glow seems to almost evoke memories of DC’s Red Lanterns…. and in a Supergirl comic book story in recent years, Kara did indeed have a red ring. Also interesting to note? The title of the story was “Red Daughter of Krypton.”

Hmm, the famous story “Superman: Red Son” is being adapted and twisted in Season 4, and the female equivalent of a son is a daughter…. Red Daughter. Let’s see where they go with this….
