And
here are some highlights from Eric Johnson (Whitney) from Smallville
Magazine #6.
On
Eric Johnson's first audition for Smallville:
"I auditioned for Lex Luthor at the beginning of December
2000," he recalls. "That didn't go very well, but
they wanted to see me for other characters, so I continued on
with the process. I came down from Edmonton, Alberta where I
was living at the time, and met with the pilot's director, David
Nutter."
On
there being more to Whitney than football and girls:
There was no way that Lana would date someone stupid, Eric
believed, and there had to be more to him than football and
girls. "Othersise it makes Lana look stupid," he points
out. "So I can't look stupid."
On
the perks of the job, that made him the envy of his friends:
"I went to work, played football, got to pretend that
Kristin was my girlfriend -- my friends would call my and say,
'You're a lucky guy'. I made a lot of good friends -- they're
good people."
On
Whitney's leading turn in "Kinetic":
"I had so much fun. It was the turning point of the
year for me, both in the story and for my own confidence. I
was working every day, not just giving a dirty look from the
background."
Smallville
Magazine #6 also includes interviews with Annette O'Toole
