Lex Luthor vs. Superman on Supergirl? “Not This Season,” Producers Say

Jon Cryer made his Supergirl debut as Lex Luthor in the March 17 episode on Supergirl, and that may lead people to wonder: When will we see him fighting with Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman?

Fans may have to wait longer than expected to see such a thing happening, if ever.

“Not this season,” the show producers said at a recent Q&A hosted by The CW. Some assumed that we might perhaps see Hoechlin after Superman appeared in a recent trailer; that was actually older footage.
