The
Show Returns!
We have just gotten some FANTASTIC news... it appears that since
Warner Brothers is taking so long in getting out the new Nicolas
Cage-starring Superman film, that they've approved things for a LOIS
& CLARK REUNION MOVIE to air this November on TNT,
according to a source from the show.
"The tentative plan is to start filming the movie after Teri
Hatcher is finished touring 'Cabaret', during her break,"
the source said. The source was a writer of several favorite
episodes of the original series. He/she also hinted that Deborah
Joy LeVine, who produced the first season of the series, will be
back on board to "whip things back into shape." When
asked whether or not this means that Lois and Clark's
relationship will take a backseat, since the romance really
started AFTER LeVine left the show, the source responded
"Absolutely not." We were also assured fans that the
baby cliffhanger at the end of "The Family Hour" will
be addressed.
Several other former L&C staffers have been invited to work
on the reunion movie, and some gossip has leaked out. Original
"L&C" stars Dean Cain, Teri Hatcher, Lane Smith, K
Callan, and Eddie Jones are all signed to appear in the movie.
They're also hoping to get John Shea to reprise his role as Lex
Luthor. It is not known who will be playing Jimmy in the movie,
as LeVine has noted a preference for Michael Landes, who played
Jimmy during the first season. We were also told that "Cat
Grant is in the script, but Tracy Scoggins won't be able to do
it." The producers are seriously considering actress
Maedchen Amick (Dawson's Creek, Fantasy Island) for the role.
This will probably be Dean Cain's last role before beginning
filming CBS's fall mideseason replacement "Second
Life," and it is said he wanted to be able to play
the character and give it closure.
If we hear more we'll have to do another Spoiler Special! (It HAS
been a long time..)
Also, we have learned that Tracy Scoggins will
be appearing in the second "Dukes of Hazzard" reunion
movie, titled "The Dukes of Hazzard: Back to
Hazzard." The movie involves Hughie Hogg (who was
occasionally played by Jeff Altman) scheming to take over
Hazzard, and he calls in Tracy to reprise her deputy character
from "New Deputy in Town" to help him do it.
According to Entertainment Weekly, former "Lois &
Clark" executive producers Eugenie Ross-Leming and
Brad Buckner have been brought on to fill the role of
executive producer Chris Carter on "The
X-Files." Carter is taking time off to work on
"Millenium" and his new series "Harsh Realm."
None of their plans have been revealed, except for the
poosibility of having Scully and Mulder get together, maybe even
get married. "After all, it's our last season anyway...it
wouldn't matter if we killed it," Eugenie was quoted as
saying.
Warner Home Video plans to release the "lost"
episode of "Lois & Clark," aired only once
in a select number of markets on a Sunday night on March 30,
1997, and was never repeated on TNT, to video on
Friday, April 8. The infamous "Little
Caped Men" episode guest starred Lane Davies in his
final appearance as Tempus. The video will retail for $10.95,
around the same price as the "X-Files" videotapes.

Dean
Cain Engaged Again!
by Craig Byrne
The Mindy McCready days may be over, but that's not keeping Dean
Cain from walking down the aisle this December.
Dean is said to be engaged to former girlfriend and popular
"V.I.P." actress Pamela Anderson, who recently ended a
marriage to rocker Tommy Lee.
We'll tell you when we hear more.
The
"Lois & Clark" 10: #9
by Rudy Ray Moore
The countdown continues as we go to the best and worst, headed
towards issue #200. Here were the 9th-favorite and
9th-least-favorite episodes, as chosen by the fans:
#9 Best Episode
"Chip
Off The Old Clark"
Episode #51 * Written by Michael Javin and Sivert Glarum
Guest Starring: Susan Batten, Joel Brooks, Kenneth Kimmins, Alex
D. Linz, Michael Kagan, Dave Nemeth, Michael Barger, and Maty
Monfort, with Dave Coulier as "Anonymous"
Who would have thought that an episode about an illegitamite
child for Clark would become such a cult classic? Maybe it was
the appearance of Mike and Maty (who?), or maybe it was the
excellent and ORIGINAL portrayal of "Anonymous" by Dave
Coulier, but "Chip Off The Old Clark" was a definite
winner. No wonder they got that kid as Macaulay Culkin's
replacement on "Home Alone."
This episode got some of the highest ratings that "Lois
& Clark" EVER got (<-- that part is NOT an April
Fool!) and gets the best ratings when TNT shows repeats. (<--
okay so that part is). I wish Jesse was a regular character on
"Lois & Clark." Think about it, it could be like
Tabitha on "Bewitched." That would be SO cool.
#9 Worst
Episode
"Season's
Greedings"
Episode #30 * Written by Dean Cain (what kind of name is that?)
Guest Starring: The dad from "Eight is Enough," one of
those millions of Van Dykes, Dom Irrera (who?), Denise Richards
(rrrowr...), and the Jeffersons
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?!
They really expected us to BELIEVE an episode where Superman
fights the Jeffersons. How dumb is that. That's like as stupid as
it would be to marry Lois and Clark, because it would kill the
show.
In the plot, some teddy bears (yes you did not read that wrong)
spray a pheromone that makes old people act childish and young
people act greedy. Whoever this Dean Cain guy is shouldn't be
allowed near a keyboard. "Toy Story" did the crazed
Toyman plot SO much better.
The episode ends with this cheesy wishy-washy stuff which really
made this writer want to puke. If you ever see this one repeated,
AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE. I do.
Next
Issue...
Okay, looking for the REAL Krypton Club 10 or any more regular
