Tonight’s episode of Krypton featured a conversation between Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) and the AI of Val-El (Ian McIlhinney) where the topic of heroes from Superman’s era came up and the Justice League was even name-checked. But at one point, Val-El asked Adam Strange if he has a nickname.
“Heroes get nicknames,” Adam Strange told him. “I don’t have one.”
Adam then goes on to talk about how his super power is lying, and that he’s only a “wannabe” D-lister.
In the comic books, while Adam Strange was never a major part of the Justice League, he was hardly a D-lister. But the conversation made us wonder: What if “Adam Strange” is a nickname, and this wasn’t the real Adam Strange at all.
What if the character we’ve been watching is “someone with a goddamn nickname?”
A time traveler who is also described as “the greatest hero you’ve never heard of?”
Well, there was this tweet:
Guess we will have to keep watching to see how this pans out. Maybe Adam Strange really is Adam Strange… or maybe we FINALLY got Booster Gold on Syfy after all, and therefore he does indeed have “a nickname.”
Sure, Booster Gold is supposed to have a movie coming out… but then again, Swamp Thing was supposed to be in that Justice League Dark movie, wasn’t he?
Krypton airs Wednesday nights on Syfy.

You just blew my mind! I could totally see them pulling that off! That would be a pretty awesome reveal! That being said, since we have seen Booster Gold in live-action before (portrayed phenomenally by Eric Martsolf on Smallville) and we’ve never seen Adam Strange in live-action before until now, there is part of me that wants this to truly be Adam.
