Hercules Kevin Sorbo To Play “Mysterious” Supergirl Villain

Kevin Sorbo (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) has been cast as a “mysterious new villain” on Supergirl but beyond that, details are sparse beyond a quote that was released to press by Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg.

“Since his days as Hercules, Kevin Sorbo has brought such a strong presence to the screen, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him join us on Supergirl,” Kreisberg said.

Interestingly enough, this isn’t Sorbo’s first brush with this sort of thing. He auditioned to play Superman in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman but lost out to Dean Cain. He was also long rumored to be making a Smallville appearance that never ended up happening.
