Superman and Lois Lane are going to be in this year’s big DC TV crossover between The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl, and casting is currently underway to fill the role of Lois. (The role of Superman will, of course, be filled by Tyler Hoechlin, who played the role in multiple episodes of Supergirl in the past.)
That Hashtag Show has gotten a hold of the casting breakdown which we assume is legit, and they note that casting directors are looking for a Caucasian woman in her early 30s as Lois Lane. The character is said to be in only the Flash and Supergirl portions of the crossover. Here’s the breakdown:
Described as the daughter of US General Sam Lane, Lois is a tenacious, righteous and stubborn reporter who will go to any length to get the story and almost never fails.
General Lane (Glenn Morshower) and Lucy Lane (Jenna Dewan Tatum) both appeared on Supergirl in the show’s first season. Whatever happens with the casting, this will be the first new live-action Lois Lane on television since we had Erica Durance on Smallville.
This year’s DC TV crossover which will also introduce Batwoman to the mythos airs December 9-11 on The CW.
