Confirmed: Melissa Benoist is Supergirl!

The photos that she dyed her hair blonde last week may have been the biggest clue of all, but now, it’s confirmed:

Melissa Benoist, who played “Marley” on Glee, will be TV’s new Supergirl for CBS, hopefully this fall!

This isn’t Benoist’s first brush with superhero-dom. In a Glee episode, she actually wore a costume as a “woman fierce” as you can see below:

  • Go luck on becoming Supergirl. I hope that CBS will give the OK to your series. I can't wait to see what you will look in your Supergirl costume.
