Chad Lowe To Play The Leader Of A Supergirl Cult In Season 3

Supergirl is going to be so popular that she’s going to inspire a cult of followers!

In the fourth episode of Supergirl Season 3, which is titled “The Faithful,” Chad Lowe (Pretty Little Liars) guest stars as the leader of said cult. Here’s how EW described his character when breaking the news:

He’ll play Thomas Coville, a charismatic religious leader with a surprising connection to Supergirl — his cult basically worships the Girl of Steel. He’s a deeply spiritual man, committed to preaching his faith and transforming his followers’ lives.

But that’s not all! Lowe will also be directing an episode of Supergirl in Season 3 — the seventh episode, which is titled “Wake Up.”

Supergirl flies back to television with new episodes October 9 on The CW.
