The latest issue of TV Guide features some quotes from Smallville executive producer Alfred Gough about the Season 4 finale episode which airs on May 18. New details include a major situation for Lana.

Here's what it said:

Smallville (5/18, 8pm/ET, WB)
It's high school graduation time for Clark (Tom Welling) and the Smallville gang, but something shakes up the ceremony and the whole town that "harkens all the way back to the pilot," reveals executive producer Al Gough. A regular bites the dust, and Lana Lang (Kristen Kreuk) will be wanted for the murder.
