tell me if you like it!
And as always, if anyone has anything they'd like to submit to

"WHINE
WHINE WHINE"'S "CALVIN" AT MEGACON THIS WEEKEND
The Orlando Megacon comic book/sci-fi convention will be held
this weekend at Orlando's Orange County convention center.
Besides having a VERY special announcement involving a major
upcoming comic book project (more on that below), the MegaCon
will also have several celebrity guests... including an actor
from "Babylon 5" by the name of Jason Carter. You may
remember Mr. Carter as "Calvin Dregg," the musician
whose "bleedin' hand" was injured by Superman in the
episode "Whine Whine Whine." For more information and
directions, consult www.megaconvention.com
DEAN CAIN: SUPER TIPPER
The Washington Post reported that earlier this week Dean
"Clark Kent" Cain visited the Felix in the Adams-Morgan
area of Washington DC and left 40 percent extra for the martinis,
mussels and bruschetta he and soem friends had until closing
time. When closing time came, Dean and friends pitched in and
helped wipe down the bar.
H.G. WELLS MOVIE IN THE WORKS
Dreamworks and Warner Bros. are producing a new feature film
based on the classic story "The Time Machine" by H.G.
Wells. In this adaptation, a scientist ends up 800,000 years in a
very different future. One interesting thing to note is that one
of the film's producers will be Simon Wells, great-grandson of
"Herb." Sadly, Tempus has nothing to do with this
movie.

TBS... go figure....

COMICS NEWS
SUPERMAN
& CO. MEET EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES
It is heavily rumored that this afternoon at the Orlando MegaCon,
comic book fans will receive the news they have been waiting
nearly 18 years for. Marvel Comics and DC Comics will be teaming
up to produce the long-awaited JUSTICE LEAGUE/AVENGERS comic book
crossover. George Perez is on hand to draw the project, which
will be written by current AVENGERS writer Kurt Busiek. None of
this cookie-cutter DC VS. MARVEL stuff here, this is the big
thing. Look for Superman, Batman, and their "super
friends" Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, and crew;
up against Marvel's mighty roster of such heroes as Captain
America, Iron Man, and Thor. George Perez is a master at drawing
as many characters at once as possible, so you know this will be
something good. We'll post more information when we know more,
but rumor has it that this will be a 4-to-6-issue mini-series,
not just a one-shot special.
"EDGEMONT"
MARATHON TODAY
Just another reminder that you can catch Kristin "the future
Lana" Kreuk on the Fox Family Channel today (March 2), as
they are running a 6-episode marathon of Kristin's CBC series
"Edgemont" from 3 to 6PM (ET). Don't miss it!
"SMALLVILLE" TRIVIA!
The answer to #255's trivia: Tom Welling graduated from Okemos
High School in Okemos, Michigan.
You can find more information about "Smallville" at http://www.kryptonsite.com.
TRIVIA
Since
"Smallville" is coming closer and with 256 issues you
can only come up with so much "Lois & Clark"
trivia, we're consolidating back into one trivia question per
issue. Here's the trivia for this time around...
Which actor has appeared on more than one episode of the 1950's
"The Adventures of Superman" and guest-starred on the
late-80's "Superboy" series as well as "Lois &
Clark?"
