THE TOWN
OF SMALLVILLE IS LOCATED!
The Corona Coming Attractions website has learned which city may
be used as the setting for the fictional "Smallville"
for the pilot episode of the series of the same name. A small
town called Merritt in British Columbia has supposedly been
looked at by WB location scouts. In case this information is
later proven wrong, don't get mad for this, but in case it's
right, then there you go.
KRISTIN KREUK'S
"EDGEMONT" MARATHON ON FOX FAMILY
This has been covered in the newsletter before but for those of
you who weren't around before... Before getting the role of Lana
Lang on the upcoming "Smallville," actress Kristin
Kreuk appeared on the Canadian teen drama "Edgemont."
The Fox Family cable channel here in the US is showing
"Edgemont" on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 12:30PM
(ET). You'll see that even though there are several talented
young actors on the show, Kristin gives the best performance and
should definitely prove to be a great Lana. And hey,
"Edgemont" features a character named Craig so it can't
be bad at all. But wait, there's more...!
Fox Family will be doing an "Edgemont" marathon on
Friday afternoon, March 2. The marathon will begin at 3PM (ET)
and it will end at 6PM... meaning you'll get *three hours* of
future-Lana... or Laurel, as Kristin's character is called in
this series. Enjoy!
REMINDER: TOM WELLING ON "JUDGING AMY"
According to TV Guide Online's description, Tom Welling (the
upcoming Clark Kent for "Smallville") will be appearing
on the Tuesday, Feb. 27 episode of "Judging Amy,"
playing the karate instructor Rob Meltzer yet again. This could
be a good preview of what's to come and expect from Tom once
"Smallville" premieres this Fall. "Judging
Amy" airs at 10PM (ET) Tuesday on CBS.
"SMALLVILLE" TRIVIA!
What high school did Tom "Clark Kent" Welling graduate
from?
(Send your answers to PlanetKrypton@aol.com! The answer to
#254's trivia: The "Smallville" writing team of Alfred
Gough and Miles Millar wrote the Jackie Chan movie "Shanghai
Noon.")

TERI
HATCHER BRINGS IT ON
The DVD of the movie "Bring it
On" starring Kristin Dunst and Eliza Dushku
recently came out, and on it is a nifty feature where you can
learn "pop up video" like facts about the movie. One
fact you will learn while watching is that Teri Hatcher used to
be a cheerleader. While this is common knowledge to anyone who
ever was a "FoLC," it's still nice to know people still
include her on such a list.
"LOIS & CLARK" TRIVIA!
In what movie
did Harve Presnell (Lois's father, Sam Lane) play a rich
father-in-law whose daughter was kidnapped for a ransom? (Special
thanks to Joy for sending me this movie!)
(Send your answers to PlanetKrypton@aol.com! The answer to
#254's trivia: "Mad TV" poked fun at Teri's Radio Shack
commercials.)
AIRING TOMORROW: "BOB & CAROL & LOIS &
CLARK"
Lois and Clark may have more in common with their new neighbors
than they're aware of. What is the secret of the Kents' new
friends? Find out tomorrow morning at 8AM (ET) on TNT!
