ISSUE
#252 "Mayson
likes me, Clark, but she hates Superman. Which is kinda
confusing because Lois loves Superman but only likes
Clark. Mayson likes Clark, but in a different way than
Lois, and Mayson hates Superman in a way that's different
from anybody." |
TERI HATCHER ON "HOLLYWOOD
SQUARES"
LINZ 128 has written in to tell us that Teri "Lois
Lane" Hatcher has been on "Hollywood Squares" this
week, and should be for the rest of the week, as the show is
doing a special San Francisco edition. Check local listings to
see when it's on, and watch to also see Craig's favorite former
morning-show host. ("Hello and welcome to Breakfast Time
with Tom Laurie Bob the Puppet and me, Jim... I'm the
announcer..." okay no one's going to get that one...)
TEMPUS GOES TO THE "HOSPITAL"
It is rumored that Lane Davies, who played the popular villain
"Tempus" in several episodes of "Lois &
Clark," is close to signing to become a new regular on the
soap opera "General Hospital." Lane will be playing a
doctor, and he will be reunited with former "Santa
Barbara" castmate Nancy Lee Grahn. What *is* known for sure
is that Lane has visited the set and has met with the producer.
"LOIS & CLARK" TRIVIA!
What was the name of the little boy who was alleged to be the son
of Superman in "Chip Off The Old Clark?"
(Send your answers to PlanetKrypton@aol.com! The answer to
#251's trivia: Linda King worked for the Metropolis Star.)
AIRING TOMORROW: "FORGET ME NOT"
The perfect sign ABC let this story arc go on waaay too long...
it's on tomorrow morning at 8AM (ET) on the TNT Cable Network,
but it's only recommended if you're *really* bored.
"SMALLVILLE"
DIRECTOR INTERVIEWED ONLINE
"Smallville" pilot director David Nutter has answered
some questions and revealed some bits about
"Smallville" for the online newsmagazine
"Retrovision." It turns out Nutter is no stranger to
the mythos -- not only was he a producer for "Roswell,"
but he also worked on the late-1980's "Superboy" series
as well.
Here's a link to where you can find that interview....

SUPERBOY TRIVIA!
Since the "Smallville" series has not premiered yet,
here's some trivia involving the Superboy character...
The actress who played Lana Lang on "Superboy" starred
on what "Lois & Clark" competitor show?
(Send your answers to PlanetKrypton@aol.com! The answer to
#251's trivia: Two different actors played Superboy in the late
1980's TV series: John Haymes Newton for the first year, and
Gerard Christopher thereafter. Oops, forgot to change that pesky
trivia question again.)
