Good ratings and fan reviews came in for "We Have A Lot To Talk About," setting Season 3 off to a *very* good start. It was at this time (during a "Good Morning America" appearance) that fans also got their first look at Teri Hatcher's new, shorter hairstyle.

L&C KICKS BUCHMAN BEHINDS,
IRC LOG WILL BE SENT OUT, AND MORE!
Only three more days until "Ordinary People!" It looks
good!
We are proud to announce that L&C quickly stomped over Cybill
and Maryann,
and kicked the Buchman's behinds. Yes, even though they were
edged out by
"The Simpsons," "L&C" still made a close
second for their timeslot and #19
overall. Here's the breakdown for the shows in the 8pm timeslot,
according
to USA Today....

Please note that "The
Simpsons" had the "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" gimmick
going
for them, and that won't help them very much next week, whereas
"Lois &
Clark" has the romance that will (hopefully) continue
through the season.
Appearances on "Good Morning America," etc. couldn't
hurt the show either.
Congratulations to the entire "L&C" cast and crew
for a job well done!
In other news, the log of Sunday night's IRC chat will be sent
out as a
Krypton Club Special tomorrow.
There is another Krypton Club survey at the end of today's
newsletter; we'd
really appreciate it if you'd fill it out. Thanks.
Thanks a lot! Hope you enjoy the newsletter!

P.S.: If you're an international FOLC from outside of the USA,
write us and
tell us when and where L&C can be seen! We'd love to hear
from you. We'd
also love to hear about L&C's popularity overseas. Thanks!

GOOD MORNING, DEAN AND TERI! By Craig Byrne (who wants Teri's old
hairstyle
to come back)
"Good Morning America"-watching FOLCs were given a
surprise this morning.
Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher appeared on "Good Morning
America" along with a
clip of "Ordinary People." The episode looks really
funny! Dean and Teri
assured us that "Lois & Clark" isn't one of those
shows that dies down once
the two lead characters get together. At the end, Joan Lunden
said "Say yes
to her!" to Dean, meaning either she screwed up royally or
she's been
reading the Krypton Club spoilers. Other than Dean & Teri,
"GMA" was boring
as usual [now if "Breakfast Time" would get Dean or
Teri... now THAT would
be cool! --Craig]

AOL POSTS SYNOPSIS FOR "CONTACT"
America Online has posted a synopsis for the October 1 episode,
"Contact."
To prevent confusion, we're going to save synopsises for printing
until the
week BEFORE the new episode airs (meaning the "Contact"
synopsis will be
seen next Monday or Thursday). Just thought we'd let you know in
case
you're patrolling the AOL neighborhoods.

L&C SIGHTINGS
Michael Landes (The Actor Formerly Known as Jimmy) appeared in
the premiere
episode of Deborah Joy Levine's new series
"Courthouse." Whether or not he
will be a regular remains to be seen.

L&C QUESTION OF THE WEEK
Earlier this week we asked what you thought of the episode
"We Have A Lot To
Talk About." We printed several of your responses in
Monday's newsletter;
here's what the rest of you thought.....
Ziploc: "I think the episode was o.k. it was not the best
episode I
ever seen. Lois has tacky new clothes and the new villian is so
foul they
NEED to get better
villians. Clark looks better than ever though!"
Lisa Freedman: " Wow! That rivals TGGGoH and WWW as my
favorite episode!
That kiss was awesome, the whole 'fighting' proved how much they
loved
eachother AND the Lois-Martha scene was truly WAFFy."
(Enough
abbreviations? <G>)
Kyle Maxwell: "This episode was a lot of fun; it's pretty
clear now that
Perry has to know as well, partially for all the reasons we
thought Lois had
to know
and partially because of the scene at the Museum. That could make
things
interesting.... Perhaps TOO interesting."
Kelly Feenstra: "AAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I LOVED WHALTTA!!!!!!!
<sigh> I am *so*
happy! And I definitely cannot wait for OP! :)"
Jenn Farwell: "'We Have A Lot To Talk About' was
*_>INCREDIBLE<_*!!! :)
Excellent performances by all... Dean, Teri, K, Justin, Lane and
Eddie: I
love ya
all!!! :)"
Kelly Youse: "Great romance! Great dialogue! No Scardino!
But really,
I loved the Lois/Clark relationship story from beginning to end;
however,
the Church
story was a little weak. And, hey, whenever you want to come to
Philly,
Dean, I'll be waiting! ;)"
Tom Terenyi: "I thought that this was the best ep. yet!!!!
All that I
have to say is
....YES.....Lois finally figured it out!!!!!"
GMD614: "What did I like best about WHALTTA ???
MA: Almost thiry years.....'You're the first woman I have ever
been able to talk to about my boy!'
WAFF WAFF WAFF WAFF WAFF WAFF WAFF WAFF WAFF WAFF"
Wally Conger: "Magic. Lois may have said 'no--for now,' but
that *can't*
last for long. After all: 'I want you to know I love you, and
you're not
alone anymore.'
Sounds like commitment to me."
AWallis360: "Some great, quick-witted writing for L&C
that will remain
favorite scenes, but the cheesy Churches slowed the show down
(thank
goodness for video FF) -- A return to well-thought-out,
more-than-one-dimensional bad guy plots would
be welcome. L&C/S working together to diffuse the bomb was
smart and
inventive: finally, the fearless yet brilliant Lois reappears
(who else
could Clark fall for?) to save the day. But please, no more
orange
Pocahontas suits."
Kathy Foulger, Bsg2351, Anaeve, and CMASSIH wrote well over two
sentences
(and what they wrote was great), but unfortunately we did not
have enough
space for them. =^p
Tune in Monday for another all-new L&C Question of the Week!
Thanks to
everyone who participated!

Subj: Re: #47 "Who's asking, Clark.... or Superman?"
From: sszada@luna.cas.usf.edu

Krypton Club,
Maybe you'll should do a poll on why Lois pats Clark on the butt
in the parking lot scene. This was brought to my attention on irc
the
other day, but no one knows why it's there. I'm totally lost and
confused. I can kinda see why she does it when she's asking him
why he's
not talking to her (pats on butt is usually for motivation), but
it seems
so unlike Lois.
Just a thought
BabySteph
[Hmmm, good question... maybe Lois was feeling frisky or
something, or maybe
she was wondering if Superman's buns were made of steel. I doubt
we'll ever
find out the truth.... --Craig]

From: LauraEDMia@aol.com

Hi Craig...
<<The outfits worn by Lois in this episode were horrible.
Why did they
borrow clothes from the "Brady Bunch Movie?">>
Now, now, Craig... that wasn't very nice!!! If you look at all
the fashion
mags, they're all the RAVE! Besides... doesn't Teri look GORGEOUS
wearing
just about anything? You did call her "the most beautiful
woman in the
world" remember?
Trivia Question:
Jessica Collins played Dinah Lee on ABC's "Loving", and
considering she's a
very bright and intelligent woman, she played "Mindy"
the airhead quite well.
TTFN,
Laura
[I did call her the most beautiful woman in the world... it's a
shame they
make her wear that stuff though! ACK! --Craig]
