ISSUE #208
MARCH 19, 2000

"Well, I've decided that I need. . . . No. I've decided that the world needs me."
"Needs you to what? Model men's underwear? Bring capes back in fashion?"

-- Superman and Lana Lang, "Tempus Anyone?"

HI!
Inside this one you'll find an all-new exclusive interview with Bruce "Bill Church Jr." Campbell, and a schedule for TNT repeats through the beginning of May! As an ego-centered "pop culture icon" would say, "'Nuff said!"

BRUCE CAMPBELL INTERVIEW
By David Minerva

Bruce Campbell appeared on "Lois & Clark" in the episodes "Individual Responsibility," "Whine Whine Whine," and "We Have A Lot To Talk About" as "Bill Church Jr.," son of the head of Intergang. Campbell is also well known for his roles in the "Evil Dead" movies and the sorely missed "Adventures of Brisco County Jr." He's currently appearing in the new "Action Pack" series "Jack of all Trades." Bruce was kind enough to answer some questions for us about his "L&C" visit:

DAVE: The last time Bill Church Jr. was seen in "Lois & Clark" was in "We Have A Lot To Talk About," where his new stepmom Mindy Church managed to trick him and his father and take over Intergang....do you think more should have been done with the Churches than was done on the show?

CAMPBELL: Of course, but that's just the selfish actor talking...

DAVE: How often did you tune in to watch 'Lois & Clark', if you did at all? If so, was it only for the episodes you guest starred in or other episodes as well?

CAMPBELL: I catch it while channel surfing and will watch it from time to time.

DAVE: Should there be any kind of L&C reunion episode, would you reprise your role as Bill Church Jr.?

CAMPBELL: I don't think that would ever happen, personally...

DAVE: Are Bill Church and Brisco County the only characters you've played that match your initials (B.C)...and were those just a coincidence, or more?

CAMPBELL: Merely a coincidence.

DAVE: When out in public, how often does an average person recognize you...and are you tired of it when it they do?

CAMPBELL: It all depends on where I am. A college campus, yes, but not generally that much, thankfully.

DAVE: Who would win in a fight: "Evil Dead" Ash or "Pokemon" Ash Ketchum?

CAMPBELL: Ash, in about 2 seconds.

DAVE: How has your experience been so far with your new show, "Jack of All Trades?"

CAMPBELL: Very good so far - stay tuned!

TRIVIA!

What "L&C" episode featured a landmark called "Gabby's Deli?"

Look for the answer in the next newsletter. The answer to last issue's trivia: Lane "Perry White" Smith played President Richard Nixon in a TV-movie.
