John Glover was a part of the Smallville cast for the first season, but didn't join as a regular until the 2002-2003 year.

Born in Salisbury, Maryland, Glover is a noted actor in many fields, including movies, television, and theater. One of his most memorable roles was playing the Devil in Brimstone - a show he would really like to see on DVD someday.

Glover continues to actively pursue theatre work. He also participates annually in the Jack Glover Memory Walk, named for his father, to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Maryland Chapter.

Now that he has left Smallville, Glover can be found doing more theatre work; he also appared on a recent episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
