Possible Good News!
Fresh after a barrage of nuts from very dedicated Jericho fans, TV Guide's Mike Ausiello has posted that there is still a slight chance of the show coming back after all.

The report says that CBS may be close to signing a deal for "at least six episodes" to air possibly as soon as midseason.

To say this is very good news is an understatement. Jericho has been a solid performer on CBS' line-up with some very loyal fans, and a second season might be exactly what it needs to catch on even more.

Stay tuned.

A Conclusion For Jericho?
Some possible good news to go with all of the recent bad news...

CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler posted a message on the CBS forum in response to the fans' passion for the show:

To the fans of Jericho:

We have read your emails over the past few days and have been touched by the depth and passion with which you have expressed your disappointment. Please know that canceling a television series is a very difficult decision. Hundreds of people at the Network, the production company and the incredibly-talented creative team worked very hard to build and serve the community for this show -- both on-air and online. It is a show we loved too.

Thank you for supporting Jericho with such passion. We truly appreciate the commitment you made to the series and we are humbled by your disappointment. In the coming weeks, we hope to develop a way to provide closure to the compelling drama that was the Jericho story.

Sincerely,

Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment

What could she be speaking of? A TV-movie wrapping things up? A mini-series? Whatever comes up, it may be promising news that the story of Jericho may be adequately concluded. And who knows, if enough people tune in to see whatever CBS has planned, there may be some more for us in the future... Stay Tuned.
