Kristin
at E! Online has revealed the news we've been trying to
figure out for a while - the role of Young Arthur "A.C."
Curry, aka Aquaman, has been cast for the episode "Aqua."
The actor playing him is a newcomer named Alan Ritchson (contrary
to Kristin's misspelling) Here's a brief bio of Alan, courtesy
of Kristin's posting:
 "Alan
grew up in the South on the easy-going beaches of Florida. To
support the cost of recording his CD, "This Is Next Time,"
he moved to Miami and modeled in numerous magazines, including
Maxim, Seventeen, and Cosmopolitan. He also appeared in campaigns
for Abercrombie & Fitch, Nike, and Joe Boxer. Once he finished
his CD, Alan relocated to Los Angeles and immediately got acting
work. He landed a lead role in Lions Gates' "The Harvest",
due out this fall, as well as Robert Zemeckis' "Beowulf",
due in 2007."
 Some
trivia Kristin failed to mention.... unless we're completely
mistaken... Alan also is known for some appearances on American
Idol. He didn't win, but hey, now he gets to be on Smallville!
