Superman For All Seasons
Smallville explores the story of a young Clark Kent and his place in the world on television. In the comics, this was very well illustrated in Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's "Superman For All Seasons." This has been labeled a "must read" by many fans and also listed as the favorite Superman story of recent years by many. Check it out!

Any purchases through the Amazon.com link keep KryptonSite going. (Webspace sadly isn't free when you want your own domain!) So if you do purchase something through one of these links, thanks!

Lana's Dead Parents Return!

(4/1) Sick of hearing about Lana's dead parents? So are we.

The producers of Smallville heard us, and it seems that starting with the April 16 episode, "Stray," Lana's parents will be back in the land of the living.

However, the actors who played Lewis and Laura in the first Smallville pilot are unavailable. It seems the stunt meteor shower didn't quite work right, and the real actors were flattened too. So, the new Lewis and Laura will be played by Tom Wopat (The Dukes of Hazzard) and Stacy Haiduk (Superboy).

Lex's New Look!

(4/1) The episode appropriately titled "Hair," airing in May, features a new look for Lex Luthor.

"Lex is going to have hair again," Michael Rosenbaum told KryptonSite. "Unfortunately, it's just for one episode."

"Hair" explores a world where Clark Kent's spaceship crashed in Metropolis instead of Smallville, and Lex's life didn't follow the same paths. In this alternate world Lex never became bald, and grew up to run LuthorCorp at his father's side.

For a look at Lex with hair, consult the photo to your right. For more pictures from "Hair" click here.

Chloe Sullivan IS Lois Lane!

(4/1) Those of you wondering the truth about Chloe Sullivan and her relation to Lois Lane can wonder no more.

At a recent press conference, the cat was accidentally let out of the bag about Chloe. "Towards the end of next year you'll see Chloe adopting her pen name of Lois Lane," one producer said. "So in a way, we had Lois around all along. Just wait 'till you see who turns out to be Jimmy Olsen!"

Smallville Season Finale Spoilers!

(4/1) A villain from the past returns! A vision of the future proven true! And... could it be... THE COSTUME?!?! What are you waiting for? Visit the KryptonSite spoilers page for the ENTIRE scoop on the Smallville first season finale!

Kelly Brook Becomes A Regular In Season 2

(4/1) Fans were so impressed with Kelly Brook's performance as "Victoria Hardwick" in four episodes of Smallville this year that Kelly has been signed to appear in ALL of Season 2.

"You see, Kelly really is the Joan Collins of Smallville," a source from the WB said. "Her and Lana's body double can have cat fights. It will be great!"

It is also rumored that Victoria will come in and start putting the moves on Clark. "She couldn't beat Lex," the WB source said, "so Clark is the next step." For more information about Kelly Brook click here.

More Smallville Action Figures!

(4/1) The first wave of DC Direct Smallville figures got such a positive response that they have announced a second wave will be arriving in late 2002.

New figures include Principal Kwan with ultra-stiff back, Chloe Sullivan with personal recorder and optional cleavage, and Victoria Hardwick with inflatable... "assets." Also in the second installment include HoYay Lex and Clark with a blue TyNant water bottle, Jonathan Kent with Platitude-Spewing Action and Orange Car, and Screaming Lionel Luthor.

Keep reading KryptonSite for more updates. For some photos of the figures click here.

April Fool's Day!

(4/1) If you haven't figured it out by now NONE of the headlines on this page are for real -- instead, it's part of an April Fool's joke! If you want to see what's really going on in the Smallville world, visit KryptonSite's real news page by clicking here.

Hopefully no one is too angry! But in reality, Kelly Brook is hopefully far away from Smallville, there will probably never be a Principal Kwan figure, and Lana's parents are long gone. Thanks for visiting KryptonSite and have a great April!
